About Clothes Cycle
Clothes Cycle is one of the UK’s leading sustainable fashion pop-ups, hosting curated vintage markets and retail activations across multiple cities. We work with independent sellers, student communities, venues, and creatives to deliver high-footfall, high-energy events that champion circular fashion and community-led retail.
The business is now at a stage where we’re looking for someone to take over the day-to-day running of Clothes Cycle, allowing the founder to step back from operational delivery and focus on growth, partnerships, and long-term strategy.
This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for someone who enjoys ownership, organisation, and bringing events to life.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of Clothes Cycle, overseeing everything from seller applications and event planning through to on-the-ground execution.
This role blends:
-
operations
-
logistics
-
people management
-
communications
-
and creative oversight
You will act as the operational lead, ensuring events run smoothly, teams are supported, and systems stay organised.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Operations Management
-
Manage all seller applications, approvals, and communications
-
Organise and oversee multiple events across different UK cities
-
Plan event schedules, timelines, and floor plans
-
Coordinate venues, arrival slots, setup, and breakdown
-
Oversee logistics including transport of equipment and materials
-
Be present at events to support setup, live delivery, and pack-down
Seller & Community Management
-
Act as the main point of contact for sellers
-
Respond to enquiries clearly, professionally, and efficiently
-
Ensure sellers are fully onboarded and informed ahead of events
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat sellers
Team & Ambassador Management
-
Recruit, organise, and manage student ambassadors in each city
-
Coordinate event staff, volunteers, and casual team members
-
Delegate tasks effectively across the team
-
Ensure all staff and ambassadors are briefed and supported
Marketing & Content Oversight
-
Manage day-to-day social media across Instagram and TikTok
-
Plan and schedule promotional content for upcoming events
-
Create simple graphics, reels, and TikToks or delegate this work to others
-
Ensure consistent brand tone, messaging, and visuals
Admin & Organisation
-
Maintain clear systems for applications, schedules, and documents
-
Track key event details to ensure nothing is missed
-
Provide operational updates and reporting to the founder
About You
You’re organised, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility. You enjoy both planning behind the scenes and being hands-on during events. You communicate confidently, stay calm under pressure, and are happy to get stuck in — whether that’s managing spreadsheets or helping move rails on event days.
You don’t need to tick every box, but you should be confident owning projects and following them through from start to finish.
Essential Requirements
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Eligible to hire and drive a commercial van in the UK
-
Comfortable travelling for events (including early starts and weekends)
-
Strong organisational and communication skills
Nice to Have
-
Experience in events, operations, retail, or community-led projects
-
Social media or content creation experience
-
Marketing experience
-
Graphic design skills (Canva or similar)
-
Interest in fashion, sustainability, or creative industries
Why This Role?
This role is particularly well suited to someone interested in sustainable fashion, marketing, event management, or project management, who wants real responsibility and hands-on experience rather than a purely junior role.
It’s also ideal for someone who values flexible work and autonomy — for example, someone balancing their own business, freelance work, or other creative projects — while still being able to commit consistently to the role.
We’re looking for someone excited by the idea of growing with Clothes Cycle and making a longer-term commitment, with a minimum commitment of 18 months, to support continuity, ownership, and long-term growth.
How to Apply
Please send:
-
A short CV
-
A brief note explaining why this role appeals to you and any relevant experience
-
Links to any relevant social media accounts or creative work you’re happy to share (optional but encouraged).
