About Clothes Cycle
Clothes Cycle is one of the UK’s leading sustainable fashion pop-up platforms, producing curated vintage markets and creative retail activations across multiple cities. We work with independent sellers, student communities, venues, and creatives to deliver high-footfall, visually led events that celebrate circular fashion, community, and culture.
Clothes Cycle is as much about aesthetic, atmosphere, and brand as it is about logistics, from how events look and feel, to how they’re communicated online.
The business is now at a stage where we’re looking for someone to take ownership of the day-to-day running and creative delivery of Clothes Cycle, allowing the founder to step back from operational detail and focus on growth, partnerships, and long-term strategy.
This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role for someone who enjoys blending creativity, organisation, and people management, and who cares deeply about fashion, visuals, and brand tone.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery, presentation, and communication of Clothes Cycle events, from shaping how they’re promoted online, to how they look and feel on the ground.
This role sits at the intersection of:
-
creative production
-
social media & content
-
fashion & visual curation
-
events & logistics
You’ll act as the main point of ownership across the brand’s live events and digital presence, ensuring everything feels cohesive, well-executed, and aligned with the Clothes Cycle aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Brand Oversight
-
Shape the look, feel, and atmosphere of Clothes Cycle events
-
Ensure events feel visually cohesive, considered, and on-brand
-
Bring creative ideas for layouts, activations, and event moments
-
Maintain a strong sense of aesthetic across both live events and online content
Social Media & Content
-
Manage day-to-day social media across Instagram and TikTok
-
Plan and schedule content to promote upcoming events
-
Create simple graphics, reels, and TikToks (or brief others clearly)
-
Capture and curate content at events
-
Ensure consistent tone, visuals, and messaging across all platforms
Event & Production Management
-
Oversee planning and delivery of multiple events across the UK
-
Manage seller applications, approvals, and communications
-
Plan timelines, floor plans, and event schedules
-
Coordinate venues, arrival slots, setup, and breakdown
-
Be present at events to support live delivery and problem-solving
Seller & Community Management
-
Act as the main point of contact for sellers
-
Build strong relationships with repeat sellers and creative partners
-
Ensure sellers feel supported, informed, and excited to take part
-
Foster a positive, community-led atmosphere at events
Team & Ambassador Management
-
Recruit, organise, and manage student ambassadors in each city
-
Coordinate event staff, volunteers, and casual team members
-
Brief teams clearly and ensure they feel confident and supported
-
Delegate tasks and oversee delivery on event days
Organisation & Admin
-
Maintain clear systems for applications, schedules, and documents
-
Track key event details to ensure nothing is missed
-
Share regular updates with the founder on delivery and performance
About You
You’re highly organised but creatively minded. You care about how things look, feel, and are communicated, not just whether they run on time. You’re comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and being hands-on, whether that’s planning content, managing people, or helping set up rails on event days.
You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy working in fast-moving, creative environments. You don’t need to come from a traditional events background, experience in fashion, retail, social media, or creative projects is equally valuable.
Essential Requirements
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Eligible to hire and drive a commercial van in the UK
-
Comfortable travelling for events (including early starts and weekends)
-
Strong organisational and communication skills
Nice to Have
-
Experience in fashion, retail, pop-ups, or creative events
-
Social media or content creation experience
-
A good visual eye and interest in branding or aesthetics
-
Canva or basic graphic design skills
-
Interest in sustainable fashion or creative industries
Why This Role?
This role is ideal for someone who wants real responsibility and creative ownership, rather than a purely junior or corporate position. It’s particularly well suited to someone interested in fashion, branding, content, and live experiences, who enjoys seeing ideas through from concept to execution.
The role offers flexibility and autonomy, and would suit someone balancing freelance work, creative projects, or their own business — while still being able to commit consistently.
We’re looking for someone excited to grow with Clothes Cycle and make a longer-term commitment (minimum 18 months), supporting continuity, ownership, and long-term development.
How to Apply
Please send:
-
A short CV
-
A brief note explaining why this role appeals to you
-
Links to any relevant social media accounts or creative work (optional but encouraged)
